I'm currently taking comissions, you can find all the info here:
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
It's been almost a month since I last updated my journals, so I think an update is in order:
My PC as you know is dead and buried, we couldn't find a replacement, and going in for a new and cheap one is out of the question becuase it would mean to eventually go through the same frustration all over again, so I'm sticking with this laptop for the time being.
Thankfully this month I was finally able to research parts for a proper new PC, it's a really decent one and it should last me for a good while if I take good care of it and give it proper maintenance when needed, it will cost $610, wich doesn't sound too bad if it wasn't because it translates into $10,130 in my local currency (Mexican pesos).
Now more than ever I need to save up the money for this PC, since now I know what each part is going to cost, I can easily buy one part at a time so the saving up doesn't feel too heavy or annoying (it still is, lol), it will also take me a while to gather that cash, right now my money income is really limited, got a few savings at the bank but those go mostly to help pay some bills at home
So right now I have two priorities: finish school, and find a job, the second I'm not too fond of because finding a job has been hell for everyone in this country (that's why you see so many jumping over to the states, job opportunities are scarce over here), my third option will be doing comissions, that's why I'm keeping active with drawings and also working on improving their quality
If anyone wants to help out or comission me, let me know, I will do my best to earn comissions and get that PC
That's all I have to say for now, we'll see what happens next, I will continue to explore other options aswell, thank you guys for reading!

Reflecting on 2022 as we go into 2023
This has been quite a year for me, a lot has happened, both good and bad, but as there's barely an hour left for the year to end, I want to share some reflections... Back in late october, my laptop screen got busted and it ruined my art output... I have harped a lot about it on twitter, I need to focus on saving up comission money so I can get it and get my art output back, but until then, I have to truly adapt and overcome, I think the solution is finally here... I'm gonna start seriously scheduling my days. Along with artwork, I also have a youtube gaming channel, I used to do let's plays but nowadays I've been focused on fully edited reviews, output on that one hasn't been ideal either, so I cut my losses and started frontloading my videos. I made 4 videos during december that I am going to start uploading weekly, every wednesday, that will give me plenty of time to frontload more videos and keep the output consistent, this new breathing room I gave myself has inspired me
Let's talk AI
The few of you still following this art account may have noticed my uploads stopped to a crawl. Usually my art scheduling for the last 2 years has been "Draw a bunch of pictures so you can make a multi-upload every few weeks", while I still got plenty of material I have uploaded to my twitter, I decided against uploading it here... Because of Deviantart's AI initiative... Everyone saw their PR speech a few months ago, they wanted to get in on the new trendy techbro stuff, and people hated it, they backpedalled a bit and tried to assure everyone our art wouldn't be stolen to feed the machine learning program, but I have a hard time trusting them... Let me make something clear for any techbro that reads this and gets upset because I am against the inevitable progress of tech and how this tool will revolutionize art: I don't oppose AI as a tool to help artists, I can see AI having infinite potential in helping create specific references you don't find so easily, or using it to iron out
Comissions OPEN until further notice!
It took me a little too long for my own taste but this year I finally made a comission sheet! You can see it here! As I said in a previous journal, due to the pandemic, business IRL has been slow, barely giving out enough for my family’s living expenses, so any and all extra income I can earn will be more than handy. I’m not sure I’ll do limited slots, I am honestly lucky anyone reaches out to comission me at all, this is why I want to stay active and constant with my art, so if anyone decides to come in and ask for a comission, you’ll see you gonna get your money’s worth! On top of living expenses for my household, I have medical expenses of my own too, and I’m barely scraping by with those... So any business people can throw my way will be seriously met with gratitude... Dunno what else to say other than yeah, I am open for business! Indefinetley...!
2021 sure has been eventful so far...
Ok first off I need to post journals more often... Second... I need to seriously get talking about how things have been going! And let’s do it in order... -2020 was a rough year with the pandemic, not only did it break society, it broke my friends group, I won’t go into too many details, but by the end of a very painful transition that took months we figured out who the true friends in that group were, and we became happier and more united as a result! -What’s funny is that the year started out awesome for me, I got the privilege not many get to have and got to meet in person with some of my best internet friends, it was amazing, there was some awesome chemistry an the best part is that meeting in person felt like we always lived in the same city! -It was also the year I had to face a rude awakening after having someone abruptly cut me off from their lives, it hurt a lot, and used to sting to think about, nowadays things are doing a lot better because again, I am able to see who my
